    • Cultivating meaningful relationships take time, and time is what most people lack in this modern, industrialized world. Jobs are more demanding than ever, we hear people working longer hours than ever out of fear of losing their jobs, hence their homes, etc. Some work multiple jobs to make ends meet.

For those fortunate enough to still have time to spare, it’s usually spent on hobbies, family members (kids, spouse etc.)

How have you maintained or cultivated meaningful relationships in your adult lives?

    • Hmmm..this is just my own take.. But I think maintaining or building meaningful relationships takes time, and that can be hard to find in today’s busy world. Many people work long hours or even multiple jobs just to get by. If they do have free time, they often spend it on hobbies or family. To keep or grow meaningful relationships, it’s important to make time, even a little bit. Small actions like checking in, doing things together, or just listening can help. Even with a busy schedule, finding moments to connect can make relationships stronger over time.

      • I think a meaningful relationship can be any kind of relationship. It doesn’t have to be familiar. For example a relationship between a teacher and student can be very meaningful although not always friendly. For me what is meaningful is a relationship that can help you grow. It is rare to meet people like that.

    • In today’s busy world, it’s tough to find time for family and friends. Work takes up so many hours, and when people aren’t at work, they have chores or hobbies. But, to keep close relationships, you can focus on small but important habits. Spend real, quality time with loved ones, even if it’s short. Talk and listen without distractions, share in quiet moments, and have regular family meals or outings.

    • “Some things never change, like how I’m holding on tight to you.”

For me, maintaining meaningful relationships hinges on belief. This line captures the essence of how, despite the constant changes in life, some connections remain steadfast. Having each other is the best way to navigate an uncertain future.

Here are three steps to nurture invaluable relationships:
      – Identify Your Cherished Ones: Focus on the few loved ones you truly value and want to spend your time with.
      – Express Gratitude: Show appreciation for these relationships and let them know how much they mean to you.
      – Commit to Growth Together: Make mutual commitments to your relationships and support each other’s growth.
